Any + gurus out there? I’m looking for help on making a Wayland application that creates a modal(ish), decoration-less window like wldash (git.sr.ht/~kennylevinsen/wldas) does and paint stuff on it (or maybe render SVG and paint that). However, both Rust and Wayland is pretty new to me, so i can’t make anything out of wldash’s code as of yet.

I’m looking for something as native as possible, ie. i don’t want to use big frameworks like GTK or Qt. The main reason here is that this way i can understand the protocol better. Another one is that the app i intend to create on the long run should be as small as possible without depending on any big library as i want to run it on a small SBC.
